The most liked TikTok video right now is Leah Halton's 12-second lip sync to "Praise Jah in the Moonlight", with 79.9 million likes and 1.3 billion views. That is 17.2 million more likes than the next video on the list.
We checked every video below against TikTok itself on 27 September 2026, one by one, and ranked them by the like and view counts TikTok showed that day. Some well-known lists are already out of date, and one famous record video would not load at all. Details below.
The 10 most liked TikTok videos
Here is the ranking by likes. "Views" is the play count TikTok shows under the video. Seven of the ten are 15 seconds or shorter.

Just behind the top 10 are three videos with 41 to 43 million likes: a firefighter comedy clip from the Philippines (42.8 million, October 2025), a 7-second clip by Natalie Reynolds (42.8 million, March 2026) and Emilio Piano's video of a 2-year-old singing "Let It Go" (41.2 million, May 2026). Any of them could enter the top 10 within months.

Look at the saves too. The flashmob has more saves (6.35 million) than the lip sync (5.97 million) on less than half the views. People keep a three-minute concert to watch again. They like a 12-second lip sync and scroll on.
Why other lists show a different number one
Many pages still say Bella Poarch's August 2020 lip sync to "M to the B" is the most liked TikTok, with 60 to 70 million likes. KOLSprite's 2026 update says so, and Wikipedia called it the second most liked as of February 2026.
That is out of date in two ways. First, Leah Halton passed it: her video now has 79.9 million likes. Second, Bella Poarch's video would not load when we asked TikTok for it on 27 September 2026, on two tries. Several TikTok posts say she took it down this year. We found no news report confirming that, so treat it as unconfirmed, but the video is not on TikTok to count, and we left it out.
The July 2026 top 10 from RouteNote is closer, and it already has Leah Halton first. It misses Julien Cohen's flashmob, which is now second, and its counts have moved since: Leah Halton was at 78.7 million in July. If a list does not say the day it was checked, assume it is behind.
Like counts only go up, and new videos keep entering the top 10. A number from a 2024 article can be tens of millions short. Quote the count with the date you saw it, and open the video itself if the number matters.
The most viewed TikTok videos
Views and likes tell different stories. The most viewed TikTok video is Zach King's broomstick illusion from December 2019, where he appears to fly on a broom like Harry Potter. It has about 2.4 billion views but only 29.5 million likes.

Both of the top two date from December 2019, and both got about 1 like per 100 views or fewer. The top 10 by likes got about 11 per 100. A video that is watched a lot is not the same as one people loved enough to tap.
What the most liked TikTok videos have in common
Ten videos is a small group, so read this as a pattern, not a rule. Here is what the numbers and a plain look at each video show.
They are short. The middle video in the top 10 runs 14 seconds. Seven of ten are 15 seconds or less, and the shortest, Jamie's dance, is 8. The two long ones are both live music: the flashmob runs 2 minutes 59 and the train station duet 1 minute 41.
Almost nobody talks. At least eight of the ten have no talking at all: a lip sync, a dance, two pieces of live music, a drawing, strawberries and two drone shots. The other two use the creator's own sound. You do not need any particular language to get them, which matters on an app used around the world. TikTok lists the ten as posted from Australia, France, the US, Canada, Hungary, Poland and the Philippines.
They loop. A 9 to 15 second video with no story ends where it began, so it runs straight into itself again and is easy to watch twice. That is our observation. TikTok has not published how replays count toward views.
Four use a camera trick or filter. Leah Halton's Inverted filter, Billie Eilish's Time Warp Scan and two drone shots. The most viewed video of all, Zach King's broom, is a pure illusion.
Sound does a lot of the work. Six of the ten are set to a released song or remix, and two more are live music. Jamie's "Say It Right" dance started a trend of its own in early 2022, with people recreating it in their own mirrors, as Know Your Meme records.
They are old. Six of the ten were posted in 2020 to 2022. Only one, the flashmob, is from the last year. A record needs years to collect likes, which is why a new video in a list like this stands out.
The most liked TikTok of 2026 so far
No 2026 video we found has made the top 10 yet. Of the videos we checked, the most liked from this year is Natalie Reynolds' 7-second clip from 10 March, captioned "they are so obsessed with me…", with 42.8 million likes. Emilio Piano's "Let It Go" video from 26 May has 41.2 million, and FIFA's clip of the 2026 World Cup-winning goal, posted 19 July, has 26.2 million.
TikTok does not publish an official most-liked list for the year, so this is the best of the 2026 videos we could find, not a full census.
