How credits work
A credit is one MCP tool call. Ask your agent for the top ten topics in a niche and it makes one search_topics call: one credit, whether it returns one topic or twenty. Ask it to open each of those ten topics and it makes ten more calls. Compound tools that fetch several things from TikTok in one go still count as one call.
| Typical task | Tool calls | Credits |
|---|---|---|
| Search a niche and see 20 topics with 7-day search volumes | 1 | 1 |
| Open one topic: detail, 30-day chart, audience, related topics | 4 | 4 |
| Weekly trend brief: trending list, content gaps, your niche | 3 | 3 |
| Pull 100 comments from a video (50 per page) | 2 | 2 |
| Shortlist 10 creators with profiles | 11 | 11 |
Paid credits refill each month on your billing date. Unused monthly credits do not roll over. Credits added manually to your account are kept separately and do not expire with the month.
What every plan includes
The full tool set, on every plan: TikTok Creator Search Insights topics with search volume, trends and content gaps; topic detail, audience demographics, related topics and search-interest series; TikTok search for videos, creators, hashtags, sounds and live streams; autocomplete; video detail, comments and replies; creator profiles and posts. The TikTok MCP guide lists all 26 tools with what each returns.
It connects to any MCP client. Setup takes one command in Claude Code and one config block in Cursor, Codex or Gemini CLI. Every setup is on the connect page.
What it does not do
TokConnect reads TikTok. It does not post, schedule, run ads, extract transcripts or touch private data. TokConnect is an independent product and is not affiliated with or endorsed by TikTok.
