One million qualified views on TikTok pays about $400 to $1,000 through the Creator Rewards Program, and a gift worth 1,000 coins pays the creator about $2.50. Those are the two numbers this TikTok money calculator works from. TikTok has never published a pay rate, so the view figures come from creators who shared their dashboards in 2026, and the gift figures come from the coin and Diamond rates that every 2026 guide reports and TikTok has not confirmed.
Type your monthly views, or the coins and Diamonds you have received, and the calculator gives a low and a high estimate. Below it you will find how TikTok pays, why the same view count pays wildly different amounts, what published figures exist for what TikTokers make, and what a typical account at each size would earn if every view counted.
TikTok money calculator
Qualified views are on the Creator Rewards dashboard in TikTok Studio, under Monetization; they are not the view count under your videos. Coins received and your Diamond balance are on the Balance screen in the app. If you only know your public view count, type that and treat the result as the most you could earn.
How TikTok pays creators
TikTok itself pays for two things this page can put a number on: views, through the Creator Rewards Program, and gifts, through coins and Diamonds. Two more routes are paid by other people through TikTok: Shop affiliate commission and brand deals. Our guide to making money on TikTok covers all eight routes.
The Creator Rewards Program pays per 1,000 qualified views on original videos longer than one minute. You need to be 18 or older, have 10,000 followers and 100,000 views in the last 30 days, and live in a country where it runs (TikTok Help Center). The Creator Rewards Program guide has every rule and the full list of reported rates.
Gifts work differently. Viewers buy coins with real money, spend them on gifts during a LIVE or on a video, and the gift lands in your account as Diamonds, which you cash out. Going LIVE needs 1,000 followers in most regions, and you must be 18 to receive gifts (TikTok LIVE help). The going LIVE guide covers the setup.
Shop affiliate commission is set by each seller and needs 1,000 followers in the US; see the affiliate requirements. Brand deals are whatever you negotiate. Neither follows views closely enough for a calculator, so this page covers them with the published ranges further down.
How much is 1 million views on TikTok worth?
Between about $400 and $1,000 if all one million are qualified views, and often far less, because most of a video's views are not qualified. TikTok's How rewards work page defines a qualified view as a unique view from the For You feed lasting 5 seconds or more; its Creator Academy adds search views of 30 seconds or more. Views from your profile, the Following feed, shared links, repeats and short skips are all in the public number and none of them pay.
Four more things move the rate. Country: creators report about $0.85 per 1,000 in the US against $0.32 in Brazil (Elev8or, September 2026). Niche: the same source puts finance and business 20% to 30% above the market rate and entertainment 15% below. Length: only videos over one minute are in the program. And TikTok's quality factors, which its Creator Academy names as originality, play duration, search value and audience engagement, change the rate from video to video.
| Qualified views | At $0.40 per 1,000 | At the reported average, $0.80 | At $1.00 per 1,000 |
|---|---|---|---|
| 100,000 | $40 | $80 | $100 |
| 1,000,000 | $400 | $800 | $1,000 |
| 10,000,000 | $4,000 | $8,000 | $10,000 |
Rates: $0.40 to $1.00 per 1,000 qualified views, creator-reported, from Soundstripe (updated 16 September 2026) and Influencer Marketing Hub (updated 12 May 2026). The $0.80 average is Uppbeat's June 2026 analysis of disclosed payouts, $0.36 to $1.04 per 1,000, as cited by Stack Influence. TikTok has not published a rate. Derived numbers.
The spread in creator screenshots is wider than the table. Neal Schaffer's roundup found reports from $0.20 to $8.00 per 1,000 and calls both ends unreliable. The $0.40 to $1.00 range is where most 2026 reports land, and it is the range the calculator uses.
TikTok pays per qualified view, on videos over one minute, to accounts that have been accepted into the Creator Rewards Program, and only once a video passes 1,000 qualified views. A video with 1 million views on the public counter can have a few thousand qualified views, and a creator under 10,000 followers earns nothing from views at any count. Multiply your public views by a rate and you will get a number TikTok will never pay.
TikTok gifts value: coins to dollars
A coin costs the fan about 1 cent and pays the creator about a quarter of a cent. That is the whole gift economy in one sentence, and each step of it is reported by guides rather than published by TikTok. TikTok's own pages (Buying and using Coins, Diamonds) explain how coins and Diamonds work without giving an exchange rate, and its Virtual Items policy says TikTok sets the rate and can change it.
| Step | Reported figure | Who reports it | Has TikTok published it? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Coin price in the app | 65 coins for $0.99, about 1.5 cents a coin | Socialrails (updated 22 July 2026) | Shown in the app at purchase; no rate card |
| Coin price on tiktok.com/coin | 700 coins for about $7.25, about 1.04 cents a coin; 25% to 30% cheaper than in-app | PCrisk (updated 10 June 2026), Socialrails | Shown on the web store; no rate card |
| Gift to Diamonds | About 2 coins become 1 Diamond | Socialrails, Influencer Marketing Hub (updated 6 August 2026) | No |
| Diamond to cash | $0.005 per Diamond | Socialrails, Influencer Marketing Hub, Tiktonomics (April 2026) | No |
| Withdrawal minimum, US | $100, which is 20,000 Diamonds | Socialrails and most 2026 guides | Not that we could confirm |
| Withdrawal limits, UK and EU | $1 minimum by PayPal, $5 to $9 by bank; $1,000 a day maximum; PayPal fee 1.5% plus $0.10, bank fee $2.90 | TikTok, Payment limits and fees | Yes |
Checked 22 September 2026. Coin prices vary by country and TikTok changes packages without notice; the Balance screen in your app shows the current ones.
Put the steps together and a 1,000-coin gift, which costs the fan about $10.40 on the web or $15.20 in the app, becomes about 500 Diamonds, worth $2.50 to the creator. The biggest gifts scale the same way: a Lion at 29,999 coins pays about $75, a Universe at 44,999 coins about $112 (gift prices from Tiktonomics; TikTok changes them by region).
Guides disagree on the creator's share. Influencer Marketing Hub says creators "see roughly half" of what the fan spent; its worked example on another page has 1,000 coins costing $12.70 and paying about $5, closer to 40%; Socialrails says about a quarter. The half figure describes the coin-to-Diamond step. Count what the fan paid for the coins and the arithmetic above gives roughly 24% of web spend and 16% of app spend, which is why the calculator shows both numbers.
How much do TikTokers make? The published figures
There is no census of creator income, so every figure is a rate card assembled by an agency or a small survey. The ranges below have a named source and a 2026 date. Treat them as what brands are quoted, not what the average account earns.
| Followers | Per sponsored post | Monthly earnings, all sources |
|---|---|---|
| 1,000 to 10,000 | $50 to $200 | $0 to $200 |
| 10,000 to 100,000 | $200 to $800 | $100 to $5,000 |
| 100,000 to 1M | $800 to $5,000 | $5,000 to $20,000 (given for 500k to 1M) |
| Over 1M | $5,000 to $50,000 and up | $20,000 and up |
Per-post rates: Influencer Marketing Hub, TikTok Influencer Rates (updated 31 August 2026). Monthly ranges: Influencer Marketing Hub, How Much Does TikTok Pay (updated 12 May 2026). Both are the publisher's estimates from brand and creator reports, not survey data.
The monthly column is far above what views pay: a creator over 1M followers would need 20 million qualified views a month to reach $20,000 at the top reported rate, so the money at that size is brand deals and Shop. The per-post column is a starting price. Influencer Marketing Hub says rates move with engagement, niche and usage rights more than with follower count, and the engagement rate calculator shows how to check that side of a creator.
What typical accounts would earn from views: an illustration
To show what the range means for real accounts, we took a September 2026 sample of 58 creators surfaced by TikTok search in six niches (572 posts) and the median views per post at each follower size. We assumed 12 posts a month, treated every view as qualified and every video as over one minute, and applied $0.40 and $1.00 per 1,000. Real pay would be lower on every row, because public views include views that do not qualify and most sampled posts are under a minute.
| Followers | Creators | Median views per post | Views a month at 12 posts | At $0.40 per 1,000 | At $1.00 per 1,000 |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Under 10k | 5 | 215 | 2,580 | $1.03 | $2.58 |
| 10k to 100k | 7 | 12,130 | 145,554 | $58.22 | $145.55 |
| 100k to 1M | 17 | 21,800 | 261,600 | $104.64 | $261.60 |
| Over 1M | 29 | 102,450 | 1,229,400 | $491.76 | $1,229.40 |
Views: median across creators in the tier of each creator's median over their last 10 posts, from the September 2026 sample (58 creators, six niches, pulled 21 September 2026 via TokConnect). Posting cadence, qualified-view share and video length are assumptions, listed in the derived file.
Under 10,000 followers the median post gets 215 views, so the 1,000-qualified-views floor per video would leave most of these accounts at $0 even if they were allowed in. At 10,000 to 100,000 followers, where accounts first qualify, a typical month is worth $58 to $146 before the qualified-view cut. Even accounts over 1M followers sit around $500 to $1,200 a month from views alone. Views are the smallest income route for almost everyone; they are simply the one people ask about most.
Estimate your own posts in one prompt
The calculator takes one number. Your real answer is per video: which recent posts are over a minute, how many views each has, and what that adds up to at the reported range. With TokConnect connected to your agent, that is one request; the agent pulls the posts and does the sums.
Pull my last 30 TikTok posts with their length and view counts. Keep only the ones longer than 60 seconds, since shorter videos are not eligible for the Creator Rewards Program. Add up their views, then estimate what they would earn at $0.40 and at $1.00 per 1,000 views, and remind me that only qualified views (For You views over 5 seconds, search views over 30 seconds) actually pay, so the real figure is lower. Show me the table of eligible posts and the two totals.
Works in Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and Gemini once TokConnect is connected. Get a free key (100 credits, no card) or see the setup guides.
If the eligible list comes back short, that is the finding: a channel of 20-second videos earns nothing from the program however well it does. If you want the view money, the fix is on the Creator Rewards page: longer original videos on topics people search for. If your videos are short and doing well, the money is in gifts, Shop and brand deals, and the tables above give you the going rates to start from.
Frequently asked questions
How much does TikTok pay per 1,000 views?
TikTok has not published a rate. Creators who shared their Creator Rewards dashboards in 2026 report about $0.40 to $1.00 per 1,000 qualified views, and a June 2026 analysis of disclosed payouts by Uppbeat put the average near $0.80. Per 1,000 views on the public counter it is lower, because only For You views over 5 seconds and search views over 30 seconds on videos longer than one minute count. Finance and business content is reported 20% to 30% above the market rate, entertainment about 15% below.
How much is 1 million views on TikTok worth?
About $400 to $1,000 from the Creator Rewards Program if all one million are qualified views, which they almost never are. A video's public view count includes profile visits, shares, the Following feed, repeats and skips under 5 seconds, none of which pay. So a video with 1 million public views can hold far fewer qualified views, and if it is under one minute long or the account has fewer than 10,000 followers it earns nothing from views at all. Brand deals for a creator whose videos reach that many people are a separate matter and are priced per post.
How much are TikTok gifts worth?
To the creator, about a quarter of a cent per coin the gift cost. Guides report that a gift converts to Diamonds at about 2 coins to 1 Diamond and that a Diamond cashes out at $0.005, so a Rose (1 coin) is worth about half a cent, a Galaxy (1,000 coins) about $2.50, a Lion (29,999 coins) about $75 and a Universe (44,999 coins) about $112. TikTok has not published the conversion or the Diamond value, and says in its Virtual Items policy that it sets and can change the rate.
How much is a TikTok coin?
About 1.5 cents in the app and about 1 cent on TikTok's website. Socialrails (July 2026) lists 65 coins for $0.99 in-app; PCrisk (June 2026) lists 700 coins for about $7.25 on tiktok.com/coin, which is 25% to 30% cheaper because Apple and Google take no cut there. Prices differ by country and TikTok changes its packages without notice, so the Balance screen in your app is the only current price list. To a creator receiving the coin as a gift, it is worth about $0.0025.
Do you need 10,000 followers to get paid?
For the Creator Rewards Program, yes: 10,000 followers, 100,000 views in the last 30 days, age 18 or over and a personal account in an eligible country. Other routes start lower. LIVE gifts need 1,000 followers to go LIVE in most regions, TikTok Shop affiliate needs 1,000 in the US, and brand deals and UGC videos have no follower rule from TikTok's side. Our making money on TikTok guide lists the threshold for each route.
Is a TikTok money calculator accurate?
No calculator can be, including this one, because TikTok does not publish a pay rate and pays per qualified view, a number only your own Creator Rewards dashboard shows. What a calculator can do is apply the range creators actually report to the number you type, and show the formula so you can check it. Treat the result as a range, type qualified views rather than public views when you have them, and expect the real figure to fall inside the range or below it. For gifts, the Diamond arithmetic is consistent across guides, but the withdrawal minimum and fees depend on your country.
