The fulfilment fee is the same on a cheap item as on a dear one, so it takes 36% of a $12 sale and 5% of an $80 one. Bundles and multi-packs spread it over more units.

The referral fee is charged on the item plus the shipping the buyer paid: 6% on most US categories and 5% on fine jewellery and pre-owned, on TikTok’s fee page revised 14 May 2026. In the UK the commission is 9% including VAT, plus £0.50 on every order you ship yourself. The creator commission is charged on the item price, at the rate you set. Fulfilled by TikTok costs about $2.86 to $4.28 for a small item, more for heavy ones. A returned US order adds a refund administration fee of 20% of the referral fee, capped at $5 an item. There is no listing or monthly fee.

How much does TikTok Shop take per sale?

Did TikTok Shop raise its fee to 8%?
Seller guides reported an 8% US rate from 4 August 2026, but TikTok’s public fee table still showed 6% on 5 October 2026. Pick the 8% option to see the difference, and divide the referral fee on a recent settlement by the order value to see the rate you actually pay.
What creator commission should I enter?
You set it, from 1% to 80% of the order value, and the creator is paid only when their video or LIVE makes a sale. One affiliate agency put the US average at 13.02% in June 2026, with open collaborations usually at 10% to 15%. Enter 0 for a sale with no creator.
What does Fulfilled by TikTok cost?
About $2.86 to $4.28 per unit for small items, with 60 days of free storage, according to seller guides from June 2026. Heavier items and multi-unit orders cost differently, so use the rate card in Seller Center for your item’s weight.
Is there a payment processing fee?
TikTok’s US fee page lists only the referral fee, and two seller guides say processing is built into it. Another lists about 1.8% to 2% on top. If your settlement shows a processing line, add it under ads and other costs. In the UK the 9% covers it.
