How to read it
A sold count is a tally, not a till
The units-sold number is the main sales figure on a public TikTok Shop listing, and it is a running total. It starts when the listing goes live and keeps adding up. It is not revenue, and it is not this week’s sales.
So an old listing can show a big number while selling slowly today, and a new one with 2,000 sold may be moving faster. The public page can’t tell you which. Multiply by price only as a rough ceiling: discounts, refunds and variant prices all change the real figure.

Look for: recent videos. Old ones mean the push may be over.

What do buyers complain about?
The listing had 3,121 reviews averaging 4.0 stars. The newest low ones are where the problems show.
A 1-star review from 28 August 2026 says the clasp is very hard to hook on without help. A 4-star review from 6 October says the kit did little for pin-straight hair.
Look for: the same complaint twice. That is your product brief.

What the public receipt shows, and what it leaves off

Why isn't the best seller at the top of the results?
Results come back in TikTok's own search order, which is not sorted by units sold. When we searched “heatless curlers” on 8 October 2026, the listing with the highest count, 87,147, sat at position 22, past the 20 this tool shows. Try a narrower phrase, or ask TokConnect's chat for TikTok's best-sellers sort.
How do I find trending products on TikTok Shop?
Use TokConnect to check three things: how often people search TikTok for the product, whether creators posted about it recently, and what fresh reviews say.
