Why does a video have no transcript?
TikTok only creates captions for videos with speech in a supported language, and creators can turn them off or delete them. Music-only clips and slideshows usually have none. This tool reads TikTok’s own captions rather than transcribing audio, so when TikTok has no caption file there is no text to return.
Can I use the .srt file as subtitles?
Yes, for videos you own or have permission to reuse. The .srt file keeps each line’s start and end time, so most video editors can import it as subtitles. Check the wording first, since automatic captions can mishear names and product terms. When you quote another creator, credit them and link to the original video.
