Search by @handle, by name or by niche
The finder reads TikTok’s own account search, the list the app shows under Users, and adds what the app doesn’t: an exact-match check, a size breakdown, filters and exports. Here is what each kind of search returned.
- @nasa exact match
Searching the @handle “nasa” put @nasa first, with 2,085,626 followers, ahead of 19 other accounts that run from 2,237 to 4.6 million followers. Some are bigger than NASA, so size can’t tell you which one is real. The exact-match line does.
- 20 different John Smiths
A name is not unique. Searching “john smith” returned 20 different accounts, from 679 followers to 933,506. Add a city, a job or a brand word to the name, or search the @handle if you know it.
- 20 for a nonsense word
TikTok never answers “no results”. A made-up word, “zxqvvwk”, still returned 20 accounts, all under 1,600 followers, and none had that name. So the finder says whether an exact @handle exists before it lists the closest ones.

Using it to find influencers · worked example, 8 October 2026
We searched “pilates instructor”. Followers told us little.
Say you sell reformer socks and want US pilates instructors to post about them. We searched TikTok accounts for “pilates instructor” with at least 10,000 followers. TikTok returned 18; 12 listed the US as their region. Then, in TokConnect’s chat, we opened each profile and its last 12 posts.

Creator C has 980,824 followers and a median of 3,688 views on her last 12 posts. Creator J has 20,600 followers and a median of 1,040. That is 3.5 times the views for 48 times the audience.

Creator B has 1,079,008 followers and the highest median views on the list, but her newest post is from 1 April 2025. A follower count alone would have put her near the top.

bios list a business email the creator posted themselves. TokConnect doesn’t find or check emails; it shows the bio as written, so you can read it and reach out.

Creators ordered by followers, largest first. The smaller accounts reach a bigger share of their audience.
Creator B’s last 12 posts run from April 2024 to April 2025, so her share describes old posts. Bars stop at 10%.

Try two or three phrases: a role (“pilates instructor”), an activity (“reformer pilates”) and a product word. Each one surfaces different accounts.
Export and merge
Download each result as a CSV and merge them into one sheet with profile links. Drop accounts outside your niche.
Add recent views and the last post date
Open each creator’s last 10 to 12 posts. Note the median views and when they last posted. This is where most of the list changes order.
Read the bio, then reach out
Many creators list a business email or a manager in their bio. Ask for an audience screenshot from TikTok Studio before you agree a fee.

What a TikTok user search can’t tell you
TikTok shows outside viewers a creator’s public counts, bio and posts. It doesn’t show who follows them. So TokConnect can’t give you:
- Audience demographics. Age, gender and country of followers stay inside the creator’s TikTok Studio.
- Contact details. No email or phone lookup, and none by email or phone number: the finder refuses both. It also shows no bio, so read it on the profile.
- Rates or past brand deals. Ask the creator, or see what TikTok influencers charge.
- Outreach or payments. It finds and checks creators; you contact and pay them yourself.
Ask the creator for one screenshot
Before you agree a fee, ask for a screenshot of the audience page in their TikTok Studio. It shows who watches their videos, which no outside tool can confirm.

Questions about finding TikTok users
How do I find someone on TikTok without an account?
Type their name or @handle into the box above. The finder reads TikTok’s own account search for you, so you need no app, TikTok account or login. An exact @handle match is marked at the top. If there is none, you get the closest accounts, with follower counts to help tell the real one from a copy.
How do I find a TikTok account by name?
Search the name as it appears on the profile, then add a word that narrows it, such as a city, a job or a brand. A display name is not unique: a search for “john smith” returned 20 different accounts when we ran it on 16 October 2026. A @handle is unique, so if you know it, search that.
Can I find a TikTok user by phone number or email?
Not with this tool. It refuses phone numbers and email addresses and searches only names, @handles and niches. If all you have is a number, TikTok’s own app has a contacts option that matches people who allow it.
Why can’t I find a TikTok account I know exists?
The usual causes are a different spelling, a @handle the person has since changed, and an account that was deleted or banned. Try the display name, the name plus a niche word, or an older @handle. TikTok’s search is fuzzy and returns close matches rather than nothing, so check the exact-match line at the top of the result.
What is the difference between a name and a @handle?
A @handle is unique: no two accounts share it, and it is the end of the profile link (tiktok.com/@nasa). A display name is not unique and can be changed freely. When you search a @handle, the finder tells you whether an account with exactly that handle exists.
Can I use it to find influencers in a niche?
Yes. Search the niche, for example “pilates instructor”, then use the size filter to keep accounts between 10,000 and 100,000 followers and sort by followers. Send promising ones to the account analyzer to see what their recent posts get, then export the shortlist as a CSV.
Why doesn’t it show verified badges or bios?
TikTok’s search results don’t carry a reliable verified flag or the bio, and we won’t guess. Each row links to the profile, where the blue check and the bio are as TikTok shows them.
How many accounts does a search return, and is it free?
Up to 20 public accounts per search, and every search uses one of your 10 free runs, with no signup. Export the list as a CSV or PDF, or continue in chat.
Is this a TikTok influencer database?
No. Databases such as Modash and Heepsy store creator profiles with audience data, with paid plans for full access. TokConnect searches TikTok live when you ask, so the list is current, but it has no audience demographics, emails or rates. Use it to build a first list, then pay for a database only if you need audience data at scale.
Why compare recent views instead of followers?
Followers are a lifetime total. Recent views show who sees the posts now. On 8 October 2026 a pilates instructor with 980,824 followers had a median of 3,688 views over her last 12 posts, while one with 20,600 followers had 1,040: 48 times the followers for 3.5 times the views.
Can I see an influencer’s audience demographics or email?
Not with TokConnect. TikTok doesn’t show outside viewers who follows an account, and TokConnect has no email database.
