Does the TikTok video idea generator use AI?
No. The ideas come from TikTok's own search data and the hook lines come from a fixed set of templates, so the same data always gives the same ideas. Nothing is written by a language model, which is why every idea can show the search, the numbers and the video behind it.
Where do the ideas come from?
Each idea is a phrase people typed into TikTok search, found by searching your niche and its related searches. For every one the tool shows TikTok's 7-day search estimate and how many videos TikTok lists for it, and pairs it with a real top video you can open and study.
What do searches, videos listed and the score mean?
Searches is TikTok's 7-day estimate for the phrase. Videos listed is how many videos TikTok lists for it. The score runs 0 to 100: 40% demand, 40% the gap between searches and listed videos, 20% whether searches rose in the last 3 days. Each idea shows its three parts.
Why does an idea say TikTok lists no videos?
TikTok's data shows 0 listed videos for some searches, which can mean a content gap, so those ideas rank high. It can also mean TikTok has not counted them yet. In the 16 October 2026 home workout run, "how to get abs at home workout" had 296,751 searches and 0 listed. Open the search on TikTok before you film.
How is the 7-day plan made?
It takes the best-scoring idea first, then the best remaining idea in a different format (photo post or video) from the day before, up to seven ideas. It is worked out from the same data with no randomness, so rerunning a niche with the same data gives the same plan.
Can I download the ideas?
Yes. Download all ideas as a CSV content plan, the 7-day plan as a PDF, or copy the plan as a checklist to paste into your notes or a project tool. Each row has the idea, the numbers, the reference video link and the hook line. No signup is needed.
