The best MCP servers for marketing in 2026 are mostly the official ones from tools you already pay for. Google Analytics MCP reads your traffic, Ahrefs, Semrush or DataForSEO bring SEO data, HubSpot's server reads and updates your CRM, and Google, Meta and TikTok each run an ads server. Apify and Firecrawl cover scraping and web research, and Notion and Canva let the agent write and design. For social data, Bright Data reaches public posts on seven platforms, and TokConnect returns TikTok search demand. We make TokConnect, one of the tools on this page.

This list is for marketers and agencies who already use Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor and want the agent to read real numbers instead of guessing. We did not connect the 13 servers made by other companies; every fact below comes from their own docs or pricing pages, checked 28 September 2026.

MCP, the Model Context Protocol, is a standard plug that lets an AI assistant use another tool. An MCP server is a small program the tool's maker publishes. You add its address to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor, sign in, and the assistant can call it: "pull last month's sessions by channel" becomes a real Google Analytics report instead of a made-up answer.

The best MCP servers for marketing, compared

Official means built by the company that runs the service. Each server's facts come from its maker's docs, GitHub repository or pricing page, checked 28 September 2026; Meta's endpoint and fee come from AdAdvisor's guide (updated 4 September 2026) because Meta's help page did not load. Every server with its URLs and notes.

Is there a Google Analytics MCP server?

Yes. Google publishes the Google Analytics MCP server on GitHub. It is read-only: it runs standard reports, funnel reports and realtime reports, and reads account, property and custom dimension settings. It cannot change your setup.

The catch is setup. It runs on your own computer rather than on Google's servers, and you sign in through Google's command-line tools with a read-only Analytics permission. Fine for someone at home in a terminal, a hurdle for everyone else. Google still labels the project experimental.

Which SEO MCP server should I use?

Use the one from the SEO tool you already pay for. All three below are official and hosted, so you paste a URL and sign in.

• Ahrefs includes MCP on every paid plan. Lite ($129 a month) gives the agent 100 rows per request and 200,000 API units a month; Standard raises that to 250 rows and 800,000 units.
• Semrush connects its keyword, backlink and traffic data, plus read-only access to your projects. It charges no separate fee, but every call spends API units, so check which plan includes them before you start.
• DataForSEO has no subscription. You top up at least $50 and pay per call, which suits agencies with uneven workloads and anyone who wants raw SERP data without a seat licence.

Is there a social media MCP server?

Not one that covers every platform officially. The big networks publish ads servers (below), not servers for public posts and search. For organic social data you have two kinds of option.

Bright Data is the widest. Its server has ready-made tools for public profiles, posts and comments on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, YouTube, TikTok and Reddit, with 5,000 free requests a month. Apify does similar work through its scraper store. Both return what is on public pages.

TokConnect, which we make, does one platform and a different job: it returns what people search for on TikTok. That is TikTok's Creator Search Insights data (weekly search counts, trends and topics with no videos yet) plus ordinary TikTok search for videos, creators and comments. When we ran that on 28 September 2026, the top topic was "emotions in sales and marketing" at about 4.8 million searches in 7 days with 445 videos. "Marketing and promotion groups" had about 4 million searches and no videos at all. These are TikTok topic labels, which group many related searches, not single typed phrases. See the full pull.

Can an AI agent manage my ads?

It can now, on the three biggest platforms, and all three servers are free. You still pay for the ads.

Google Ads MCP is strictly read-only: it runs queries against your accounts and cannot change bids, pause campaigns or create ads. You run it yourself, locally or on Google Cloud. Meta's Ads AI Connectors opened in beta on 29 April 2026 and can both report and create or edit campaigns. TikTok for Business MCP offers two endpoints, one with about 400 tools and a slimmer one with about 40, and needs only your ads account sign-in.

Does HubSpot have an MCP server?

Yes. HubSpot's remote server became generally available on 13 April 2026 and works with all HubSpot accounts. It reads and writes contacts, companies, deals, tickets, products and activities such as notes and tasks, and reads campaigns, landing pages and blog posts. If your account has sensitive data turned on, activities are blocked.

Which MCP server is best for web research?

Firecrawl is the quickest start: it works without a key inside daily limits, and 1,000 credits a month are free. It searches the web, turns pages into clean text and crawls whole sites, which covers competitor pages, pricing checks and review mining. Apify is better when you need a ready-made scraper for one site, such as Google Maps listings, and its free plan includes $5 of usage a month.

Can Claude or ChatGPT work in Notion and Canva?

Both run official hosted servers with OAuth sign-in. Notion MCP lets the agent search your workspace and create or update pages and databases, with the same access you have. Canva's AI Connector creates designs, edits existing ones and exports them. Canva's paid features stay paid: 2026 guides say resizing needs a paid plan and brand templates need Enterprise, and they disagree on whether free accounts can connect at all.

How to pick a marketing MCP server

1. Start with the tools you already pay for. An official server for your analytics, SEO tool or CRM costs nothing extra and returns your own numbers.
2. Add one data source you lack. Scraping, SEO data or TikTok search demand, depending on the gap.
3. Prefer hosted servers with OAuth if nobody on the team uses a terminal. Local servers such as Google Analytics need a setup step.
4. Check how it bills. Per call (DataForSEO, TokConnect), per result (Bright Data) or from a plan allowance (Ahrefs, Semrush). An agent in a loop can spend fast.
5. Keep the list short. Three to five servers is plenty. Every server adds tools the agent has to choose between.

How to connect an MCP server

For a hosted server you need two things: its URL and a way to sign in. In Claude Code it is one command, claude mcp add --transport http <name> <url>, with a header for servers that take an API key. In Cursor it is an entry in ~/.cursor/mcp.json. Our Claude Code setup and Cursor setup walk through both with TokConnect as the example; the same pattern works for any server in the table.

ChatGPT is different. Its developer mode adds remote MCP servers on Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise and Education plans, and the sign-in options are OAuth or none. Servers that sign in with OAuth, such as HubSpot, Notion or Semrush, fit that screen. Servers that only take a pasted API key in a header do not. TokConnect offers both: an API key for Claude Code or Cursor, and OAuth sign-in for ChatGPT and claude.ai (added 28 September 2026).
