Key takeaways
  • Micro creators (10K to 100K followers) charge about $200 to $800 per TikTok video per Influencer Marketing Hub, or up to $1,200 per Shopify; the studies split most above 100K followers.
  • Followers don't predict views: a 1.5M-follower account in our pull got a median of 4,865 views per post while a 72,400-follower account got 42,800.
  • Check any quote with CPM: quote ÷ median views × 1,000. A 2026 benchmark for TikTok runs $8 to $22 for micro and $40 to $95 for mega creators.
  • Usage rights, Spark Ads codes and exclusivity are add-ons worth 15% to 50% each; price them as separate lines with an end date.
  • Check the newest post date: 7 of 11 micro accounts TikTok search surfaced had not posted in 90 days.

TikTok influencer rates in 2026 run from about $50 to $200 per video for nano creators (1K to 10K followers), $200 to $800 for micro creators (10K to 100K), and $5,000 or more for accounts over 1M, according to Influencer Marketing Hub (updated August 2026). Shopify's June 2026 guide puts micro creators as high as $1,200 and 500K to 1M accounts at $5,000 to $15,000, so the studies disagree most above 100K followers.

Followers are a weak basis for any of these numbers. In our pull of 26 skincare and cleaning creators on 30 September 2026, a 1.5M-follower account got a median of 4,865 views per post while a 72,400-follower account got 42,800. Price the views instead: divide the quote by the creator's median views and multiply by 1,000 to get a cost per 1,000 views (CPM), then compare it with IQFluence's 2026 TikTok CPM benchmarks of $8 to $22 for micro and $40 to $95 for mega creators. This page is for brands, agencies and TikTok Shop sellers deciding what to pay.

How much do TikTok influencers charge per post in 2026?

Here are the per-video bands from the two dated rate studies that publish TikTok tiers, next to a per-view benchmark and what creators in each tier actually got on their recent posts in our pull.

Where the sources disagree matters for your budget. Influencer Marketing Hub's macro ceiling of $5,000 is where Shopify's macro band starts. Shopify's mega ceiling of $20,000 is less than half of Influencer Marketing Hub's $50,000. At the bottom, Shopify's nano floor is $5, closer to a free-product deal than a fee. Shopify says its bands are compiled from other agencies' guides, and Billo's January 2026 guide repeats Influencer Marketing Hub's four bands exactly, so many "rate cards" you find are the same numbers passed around.

Use the bands to spot a quote that is wildly out of line. Use views to decide the actual price.

Do TikTok views match follower count?

No, and the gap is big enough to change what a post is worth. TikTok recommends videos to people who don't follow the account, so a small creator can out-reach a big one, and a big account whose audience has drifted can get a few thousand views a post. We pulled the last 15 posts (at least 7 days old) from 26 creators surfaced by TikTok search for skincare and cleaning, then took each creator's median.

Horizontal bar chart of median views per post for 17 active skincare and cleaning creators, sorted by follower count. Three cleaning accounts with 7.6M, 5.9M and 2.3M followers get 894.8K, 945K and 531.1K views, but two skincare accounts with 1.5M and 1.1M followers get only 4.9K and 4.3K. A 649K-follower skincare account gets 955.1K, the highest of all, while a 628K-follower cleaning account gets 2.4K. A 72K-follower micro creator gets 42.8K, more than three of the four mid-tier accounts.

Data: 17 active creators (newest post within 90 days) in skincare and cleaning, TikTok data via TokConnect, pulled 30 September 2026. Engagement rate = likes, comments, shares and saves divided by views, median post per creator, then median creator per tier. Snapshot.

Three things stand out. Within every tier, the best creator gets between 16 and about 400 times the views of the weakest, so two creators at the same follower count can deserve very different fees. The macro tier had both the highest median in the whole pull (955,100 views) and one of the lowest (2,400). And 9 of the 26 creators TikTok search surfaced had not posted in over 90 days, including 7 of the 11 micro accounts. A dormant account still shows its follower count; it just has nobody watching new posts.

How do you sanity-check a quote with CPM?

Divide the quote by the creator's median views per post and multiply by 1,000. The answer is your CPM, the price of 1,000 people actually watching. Use the median, not the average, because one viral video inflates an average and you are not buying that video again.

Worked example. Formula: quote divided by median views per post times 1,000 equals CPM. Creator A, a micro cleaning creator with 72,400 followers and 42,800 median views, quoted at 800 dollars, the top of the micro band, costs 18.69 dollars per 1,000 views, under a 20 dollar ceiling; views equal 59 in every 100 followers. Creator B, a mega skincare creator with 1,500,000 followers and 4,865 median views, quoted at 5,000 dollars, the bottom of the mega band, costs 1,028 dollars per 1,000 views, about 51 times the 20 dollar ceiling; views equal 0.32 in every 100 followers. At 20 dollars CPM, Creator A is worth about 856 dollars a post and Creator B about 97 dollars.
Two real creators from our pull, priced at Influencer Marketing Hub's 2026 bands. The smaller account is the better buy by a wide margin.

What counts as a fair CPM? IQFluence's 2026 benchmarks for TikTok video run from $8 to $22 at micro level up to $40 to $95 for mega creators, and the same piece quotes a practitioner using $20 as a maximum target. Shopify gives $10 to $20 as a typical CPM for beauty content on TikTok. IQFluence measures CPM on impressions; on TikTok, views are the closest public number you can check.

Now run the published bands through the median views from our pull. At Shopify's bands, a typical micro post works out to $27 to $161 per 1,000 views, mid-tier $68 to $284 and macro $141 to $422. A typical mega post comes out at $13 to $38, because three of the five active mega creators in our pull got over 500,000 views a post. In other words, tier bands overcharge for weak middle-sized accounts and can undercharge for strong big ones. Pay for views, and a creator with real reach earns more from you, not less.

What changes a TikTok influencer's price?

The base rate buys one video posted on the creator's account. Everything else is an add-on, and it should be priced as a separate line so you can see what you are paying for.

FactorWhat it meansTypical effect on price
Expected viewsThe creator's median views per post over recent videosThe main driver; Later (updated July 2026) says TikTok rates are often tied to expected views rather than followers
Usage rightsYou reuse the video in your own ads, site or other channelsLater: add 30% to 50% to run it as paid ads. ContentGrip (May 2026): 20% to 30% for six months in one market
Spark Ads or whitelistingYou boost the creator's own post as an ad using their authorization code, valid for 7, 30, 60 or 365 daysLater gives 30% to 50% for whitelisting (quoted for Instagram); price the code's length, not just the post
ExclusivityThe creator agrees not to work with competitors for a set timeContentGrip: 15% to 25% for 30 days in one category. Longer windows and broader categories cost more
DeliverablesNumber of videos, raw footage, link in bio, a Live, a rush turnaroundBundles usually lower the per-video price; Later lists rush fees for tight timelines

Sources as linked, checked 30 September 2026. Spark Ads basics from TikTok Ads Manager help; code lengths as offered in the TikTok app, covered in our Spark Ads guide.

The biggest trap is paying a clean post rate and then running the video as an ad for a year. Put the usage term, the Spark Ads code length and any exclusivity window in writing before the video is filmed.

How do you negotiate a TikTok influencer rate?

  1. Pull the numbers yourself. Take the creator's last 15 to 30 posts that are at least a week old, and find the median views and the date of the newest post. Check for suspicious follower patterns with a fake follower check.
  2. Ask for their analytics. Request a screenshot of the last 30 days from TikTok Studio, including viewer countries. Views from outside your shipping area are worth little to you.
  3. Open with a CPM-based offer. Median views ÷ 1,000 × your target CPM. If a quote at the top of Influencer Marketing Hub's micro band works out at $107 per 1,000 views for a creator with our micro median, and your ceiling is $20, show them the maths; it is harder to argue with than "our budget is tight".
  4. Split base and bonus. Pay a base fee at a conservative view count and a bonus if the video beats their median. The creator keeps the upside and you avoid paying for a flop.
  5. Price the extras separately. Usage rights, Spark Ads length and exclusivity each get their own line and term, using the ranges above as a starting point.
  6. Bundle videos. Three videos over a month give you three chances at a hit, and a bundle is the natural moment to ask for a lower per-video price.
  7. Put disclosure in the contract. Paid influencers on TikTok must switch on the commercial content disclosure setting, and the FTC requires a clear disclosure of the paid relationship in the US.

If you still need creators to price, start with how to find TikTok influencers and the wider influencer marketing workflow. Engagement rate helps you choose between two creators with similar views; the engagement rate calculator does the maths.

Do this in TokConnect

Every view count on this page came from three kinds of lookup: find creators in a niche, open their profiles, and read their recent posts. In TokConnect you ask for it in one sentence.

Ask TokConnect

Find active skincare creators with 10K to 500K followers and show each one's median views per post, engagement rate and newest post date.

When we ran this research for skincare and cleaning, the answer changed our shortlist straight away. Seven of the 11 micro creators TikTok search surfaced had not posted in over 90 days. Among the active micro creators, median views ranged from 726 to 42,800, and the 72,400-follower cleaning creator out-reached three of the four mid-tier accounts we checked. That is the creator you would price first.

Next, take each creator's median views, multiply by your target CPM and divide by 1,000. That is your opening offer, with the numbers to back it up.

Find 10 active cleaning creators on TikTok with 50K to 500K followers and rank them by cost per 1,000 views if each charges $500 a video.

How we got these numbers

On 30 September 2026 we ran TikTok user searches for skincare, skincare routine, skincare tips, cleaning hacks and cleaning motivation, kept individual creators with 10,000+ followers (brand shop accounts left out), and pulled each creator's recent posts. For each creator we used up to 15 of the newest posts that were at least 7 days old, so views had time to settle. Tier figures use the 17 creators whose newest post was within 90 days. Tiers follow Shopify's 2026 definitions.

The sample is small (four or five creators per tier) and covers two niches, so read the tier medians as an illustration of the spread, not a market average. Rate bands are quoted from the named studies; we did not survey creators on price. Every creator's posts and figures are in the snapshot.

Frequently asked questions

How much should I charge for a TikTok post?

Start from your median views, not your followers. Take your last 15 posts that are at least a week old, find the middle view count, divide by 1,000 and multiply by a CPM in the $8 to $22 range that IQFluence gives for micro creators in 2026. Then check the result against the tier bands in the table above and add separate fees for usage rights or Spark Ads. Creators can use the brand deals guide to build a media kit around that number.

How much do TikTok influencers with 10k followers get paid?

A creator just over 10,000 followers sits at the bottom of the micro tier, which Influencer Marketing Hub prices at $200 to $800 per video and Shopify at $200 to $1,200 (both 2026). Where they land depends on views: in our pull, micro creators' median views ranged from 726 to 42,800 per post, so two 10K to 100K accounts can be worth very different fees.

How much does a TikTok influencer with 1 million followers charge?

Influencer Marketing Hub puts accounts over 1M followers at $5,000 to $50,000+ per video, and Shopify at $7,000 to $20,000+. Check the views before you accept that: in our pull, two skincare accounts with over 1M followers got under 5,000 median views per post, while three cleaning accounts got over 500,000.

Do TikTok influencers get paid per view?

Brand deals are usually a flat fee per video, but many brands now work the fee out from expected views and a target CPM, and some add a bonus if a video beats the creator's median. TikTok itself pays creators per qualified view through the Creator Rewards Program, which is separate from brand deals; the TikTok money calculator covers that.

Are usage rights included in a TikTok influencer rate?

Usually not. The base rate covers one video on the creator's own account. Later suggests adding 30% to 50% to run the content as paid ads, and ContentGrip gives 20% to 30% for six months in one market. Spark Ads codes last 7, 30, 60 or 365 days, so set the length in the contract.

What is a good CPM for TikTok influencer marketing?

IQFluence's 2026 benchmarks for TikTok video run from $4 to $12 for nano creators up to $40 to $95 for mega creators, and it quotes a practitioner using $20 as a maximum target. Shopify gives $10 to $20 for beauty content. Work out a creator's CPM from their median views, not their best video.
