- Modash is the default pick: a claimed 380M+ creators on TikTok, Instagram and YouTube, from $199 a month billed yearly or $299 monthly.
- HypeAuditor is the pick for audience-quality checks; it shows no price on its site, and a July 2026 review lists $299 a month on yearly billing.
- TikTok One is free for brands and uses TikTok's own audience data, but only lists creators who opted in.
- Cheapest paid starts: Heepsy at $69 a month billed yearly, Tokfluence at $99 for TikTok only, TokConnect at $49 for live search and vetting without emails.
- Rank on recent views, not followers: in our running search a 24,200-follower coach drew a median 3,884 views against 494 for a 41,500-follower coach.
The best TikTok influencer search tool for most brands is Modash: it claims 380M+ creators across Instagram, TikTok and YouTube, shows audience data and unlocks emails, from $199 a month billed yearly ($299 month to month). Pick HypeAuditor if fake-follower checks matter most, Upfluence if you run a Shopify or Amazon store, and TikTok One if you want TikTok's own data for free and only need creators who opted in. On a small budget, Heepsy has a real free plan and Tokfluence is TikTok-only at $99 a month.
TokConnect ($49 a month, 50 free credits) is the pick for searching TikTok live and vetting creators on public numbers, but it has no emails or audience demographics. Every price below was checked on the vendor's own site on 30 September 2026. This page is for brands, agencies and TikTok Shop sellers choosing a paid tool.
We make TokConnect, one of the tools on this page. Where another tool does a job better, we say so.
Which TikTok influencer search tool is best?
It depends on the one thing you can't get for free. TikTok's own search already finds creators; paid tools sell contact emails, audience country and age, and a fake-follower score. Here is who sells what.
| Tool | Best for | Starting price | Database (vendor's claim) | Fake-follower or audience check | TikTok coverage |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Modash | Most brands: big database, emails, payments | $199/mo billed yearly; $299 monthly | "380M+ creators", over 1K followers | Audience quality score; TikTok support not confirmed | TikTok, Instagram, YouTube |
| HypeAuditor | Fraud and audience-quality checks | Price not public; a July 2026 review lists $299/mo yearly | "227.4M+ database with 35+ filters" | Audience Quality Score, free TikTok checker | TikTok, Instagram, YouTube |
| Upfluence | Ecommerce teams tracking sales | Price not public (demo) | "14M+ creators database" | Lists "fraud signals"; method not published | TikTok plus 4 other networks |
| TikTok One | TikTok's own audience data, free | Free to join; you pay creators | Not published; opted-in creators only | TikTok's own audience data; no fake score | TikTok only, native |
| Heepsy | Starting cheap, with a free plan | Free; $69/mo yearly, $89 monthly | "20M+ creators" | Genuine vs suspicious followers | TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn |
| Tokfluence | TikTok-only lists with emails | Free; Pro $99/mo | "15M+ TikTok creators" | None listed | TikTok only |
| TokConnect | Live TikTok search and vetting on public numbers | Free 50 credits; $49/mo | No stored database; searches TikTok live | No score; recent views, posting and follow patterns | TikTok only |

What does each tool do, and what does it cost?
Modash: the default for most brands
Modash's pricing page lists Essentials at $299 a month, or $199 a month billed yearly ($2,388), with 300 opened profiles and 150 creator emails a month. Performance is $599, or $499 billed yearly ($5,988), and adds creator payments and affiliate links. Enterprise starts at $14,700 a year. The trial runs 14 days with no card, capped at 20 profile views and 6 email unlocks.
The database claim is "380M+ creators", described as every creator "with over 1K followers on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube" (the same page also shows 350M+ in one block). Filters cover audience age, gender, location, language and interests, plus AI and image search. Its discovery page describes an audience quality score built on signals like missing profile photos and odd follower growth; we could not confirm from Modash's own pages that this score covers TikTok, and its free fake-follower checker is Instagram-only.
HypeAuditor: best for checking audience quality
HypeAuditor's pricing page shows no prices, only a demo and a free start. A Creator Hero review from July 2026 lists Basic at $299 a month and Pro at $499 on yearly billing, and notes that Account Quality Score filtering is not in Basic. The database claim is "227.4M+ database with 35+ filters".
Its strength is fraud checks. The free TikTok fake follower checker gives an Audience Quality Score, which HypeAuditor says is based on engagement rate, comments rate and follower growth over the last 30 days. If you need a number to defend a creator choice to a client, this is the tool.
Upfluence: best for ecommerce sales tracking
Upfluence does not publish prices; its pricing page offers three modules on a custom quote, and the free trial is set up after a sales call. The database claim is "14M+ creators database" across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Twitch and Pinterest. It connects to Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, BigCommerce and Amazon, and says it takes "zero fees on tracked sales" on the higher plans. Its search page lists "fraud signals" and audience authenticity in vetting without explaining the method.
TikTok One: free, official, and limited to opted-in creators
TikTok's Creator Marketplace now lives inside TikTok One. TikTok's help page lists the filters: creator country, follower count, follower gender ratio and language; audience country, age, gender and personas; and median video views and engagement rate. Joining is free for brands, who pay creators directly, per a Social Champ guide updated January 2026.
The audience numbers come from TikTok itself, which no third-party tool can match. The catch is coverage: only creators who signed up appear, and TikTok publishes no count. Our TikTok Creator Marketplace guide covers who gets in.
Heepsy and Tokfluence: the cheaper starts
Heepsy has a real free plan (500 results and 10 detailed profiles a month), then Starter at $69 a month billed yearly or $89 monthly. It claims "20M+ creators" and shows "genuine versus suspicious followers" on detailed profiles. Tokfluence is TikTok-only: unlimited searches free with 5 profile views a month, or Pro at $99 a month with 10,000 email reveals. It claims "15M+ TikTok creators" and lists no fake-follower check.
TokConnect: live TikTok search, no stored database
TokConnect doesn't keep a creator database. You ask a question at chat.tokconnect.com (or inside ChatGPT, Claude or Cursor) and it searches TikTok's Users tab, pulls each profile and the latest posts, and returns a table. Plans run from 50 free credits to $49 a month for 500; a typical question uses 1 to 4.
What it lacks matters for this job: no contact emails, no per-creator audience country or age, no fake-follower score, no campaign management or payments, and no TikTok Shop sales data. It is a vetting and research tool that sits next to a database, or replaces one if you already know how to reach creators.
What is the best Modash alternative?
For a cheaper all-rounder, Heepsy: $69 a month billed yearly against Modash's $199, with a free plan and a suspicious-follower check. For TikTok only with emails, Tokfluence at $99. For free and official, TikTok One, if the creators you want have joined. For audience-quality proof, HypeAuditor, though you'll need a sales call for the price.
Stay on Modash if you run creators across Instagram and YouTube too, need emails at volume, or want payments and affiliate links in the same place. Nothing cheaper here does all three.
Find TikTok creators with 10K to 100K followers who post about [your niche], and rank them by median views on their last 15 posts.
Does a bigger creator database find better creators?
Not by itself. Modash's 380M counts every public account over 1,000 followers on three networks. What decides your shortlist is how well the tool filters and how fresh its numbers are, because a niche search is mostly small accounts.
We saw that on TikTok's own search. "Marathon training" returned 20 accounts on 30 September 2026: 15 had under 1,000 followers and only 2 had more than 10,000. "Running coach" returned 9 over 10,000. Two phrasings of one niche gave two different pools, which is why every tool on this page lets you search by bio keywords, and why you should try several.
What does a real creator search turn up?
We ran one search the way a running-shoe or sports-nutrition brand would. Two Users-tab searches ("marathon training", "running coach") gave 40 accounts. We pulled full profiles for six with over 10,000 followers and the latest 15 posts for five of them.
| Creator | Followers | Following | Likes per video (lifetime) | Median views, last 15 posts | Views as % of followers | Engagement per view | Newest post |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| @runnergirlnicole | 41,500 | 754 | 2,644 | 494 | 1.2% | 4.8% | 28 Sep 2026 |
| @runwithnick.mm | 27,200 | 598 | 417 | 274 | 1.0% | 2.0% | 29 Sep 2026 |
| @runningcoachmegan | 24,200 | 418 | 261 | 3,884 | 16% | 4.7% | 29 Sep 2026 |
| @minaverus | 21,300 | 48 | 1,089 | 591 | 2.8% | 5.4% | 24 Jul 2026 |
| @mileyourein | 15,600 | 1,194 | 66 | not pulled | n/a | n/a | n/a |
| @toolwhisper0 | 11,200 | 9,945 | 52 | 280 | 2.5% | 15.4% | 29 Sep 2026 |
Data: TikTok Users-tab search, public profiles and latest posts via TokConnect, pulled 30 September 2026. Engagement per view is the median of (likes + comments + shares) ÷ views across the 15 posts. Open the snapshot.
Sorted by followers, the list starts with @runnergirlnicole. Sorted by what people watch now, @runningcoachmegan wins by a wide margin: a median of 3,884 views on 15 posts in six days, 16% of her followers, with race-shoe and marathon-tips videos in that run (one shoe video reached 8,642 views). For a race-season campaign she is the first call.
The rest need a conversation, not a rejection. @runnergirlnicole's recent posts draw about 1.2% of her following, so price any deal on views. 7 of @runwithnick.mm's latest 15 posts mention his own training app, a conflict for a running-app brand and not for a shoe brand. @minaverus hasn't posted since 24 July, and one April video with 613,000 views props up her lifetime figures. @toolwhisper0 follows 9,945 accounts and 9,747 of them follow back, so his follower count says less than his 280 median views.
One more thing the search showed: all 40 results came back flagged as verified, and none of the six profiles we opened was. Check the profile, not the search card. The guide to finding TikTok influencers walks through the free search methods in more detail.
Pull the last 15 posts for @[creator handle] and tell me their median views, how often they post, and whether any posts promote their own products.
How do you check a TikTok creator for fake followers?
Run five checks on public numbers before you pay for a score. Paid tools estimate fake followers from patterns like these; you can see most of the patterns yourself.
What public data can't show is where the audience lives and how old it is. If your product ships only to the US or UK, that's the reason to pay for HypeAuditor, Modash or Heepsy, or to use TikTok One for creators who joined. Our fake follower checker guide goes through each signal, and the engagement rate calculator gives benchmarks by follower tier.
Check @[creator handle] for signs of fake followers: compare followers, following and mutual follows, and median views on recent posts against their follower count.
Do this in TokConnect
Ask the question the way you would ask a colleague: "Find running coaches on TikTok with over 10,000 followers and rank them by recent views." TokConnect runs the Users-tab searches, pulls each profile and the latest posts, and returns the table above. On 30 September that meant two searches, six profiles and five post pages, and the answer put a 24,200-follower coach at 3,884 median views ahead of a 41,500-follower coach at 494.
Then do what the numbers say. Contact the creator whose views are high now, price the others on views rather than followers, and read three full videos from each before you send an offer. For emails and audience country, take the shortlist into Modash, HypeAuditor or Heepsy; you'll spend far fewer profile unlocks on creators you've already ruled out.
Start free at chat.tokconnect.com with 50 credits. The same account works inside ChatGPT, Claude and Cursor.
Find TikTok creators for a running shoe brand: search "marathon training" and "running coach", keep accounts over 10K followers, and rank them by median views on recent posts.
Vendor prices, database claims and features were read on each vendor's own pages on 30 September 2026; HypeAuditor's price comes from a dated July 2026 review because its site shows none. The creator data is one search on 30 September 2026: two TikTok Users-tab searches of 20 accounts each, six profile pulls and the latest 15 posts for five creators, 13 TokConnect lookups in total. It is one niche on one day, so treat the shortlist as a worked example, not a ranking of running creators.
Frequently asked questions
What is the best tool to find TikTok influencers?
For most brands, Modash: a claimed 380M+ creators across TikTok, Instagram and YouTube, with audience filters and creator emails, from $199 a month billed yearly. If you mainly need fraud checks, HypeAuditor; for Shopify or Amazon sales tracking, Upfluence; for free and official, TikTok One. Prices checked 30 September 2026.
How much does Modash cost?
Essentials is $299 a month, or $199 a month billed yearly ($2,388). Performance is $599, or $499 billed yearly, and Enterprise starts at $14,700 a year. There is a 14-day free trial with no card, limited to 20 profile views and 6 email unlocks. Source: modash.io/pricing, checked 30 September 2026.
Is there a free alternative to Modash?
Yes, with limits. TikTok One is free for brands but only shows creators who joined it. Heepsy's free plan gives 500 results and 10 detailed profiles a month, and Tokfluence's free plan has unlimited TikTok searches with 5 profile views. TikTok's own Users tab is free and finds creators by keyword; see our free methods guide.
Is TikTok Creator Marketplace free for brands?
Yes. The marketplace now lives in TikTok One, and joining is free; brands pay the creators they hire and any ad spend if they boost the posts. You can filter by creator country, follower count, audience age and gender, median views and engagement rate. More in our Creator Marketplace guide.
How can I tell if a TikTok influencer has fake followers?
Compare followers with median views on the last 15 posts, check the following count and mutual follows for a follow-back pattern, look at the date of the newest post, and see whether one viral video props up the averages. Paid tools such as HypeAuditor turn these signals into a score. Our fake follower guide covers each check.
Does HypeAuditor work for TikTok?
Yes. HypeAuditor covers TikTok, Instagram and YouTube, and has a free TikTok fake follower checker that shows an Audience Quality Score based on engagement rate, comments rate and 30-day follower growth. Full reports and discovery are paid, and its prices are only available through a demo.
