Which markets and currencies does TokConnect cover?

TokConnect covers 17 TikTok Shop markets: 13 core markets and 4 extended ones (Poland, Italy, the Netherlands and Ireland). Pass the code as region to any Shop Analytics tool, and amounts come back in that market's currency, with product and shop names in the market's language. How do you connect the TokConnect MCP server?

You connect TokConnect with one URL, https://mcp.tokconnect.com/mcp. ChatGPT and Claude sign in with OAuth, and Cursor, Claude Code, n8n and any other MCP client send a key as Authorization: Bearer YOUR_TOKCONNECT_KEY. Every TokConnect plan includes MCP, new accounts start free with 50 credits and no card, and your key is at app.tokconnect.com/account.

ChatGPT

1. In ChatGPT on the web, open Settings → Security and login and switch on Developer mode. On Business, Enterprise and Edu, a workspace admin may need to allow custom MCP first.
2. Go to chatgpt.com/plugins, press + and name the app TokConnect.
3. Paste https://mcp.tokconnect.com/mcp, including /mcp, and create the app.
4. Continue with Google, press Allow, then switch TokConnect on in a chat.

Claude

1. In Claude Desktop or on claude.ai, go to Customize → Connectors, press + Add, then Add custom connector.
2. Name it TokConnect, paste https://mcp.tokconnect.com/mcp and press Continue.
3. Keep the sign-in settings Claude detects, press Add, continue with Google and press Allow.
4. In a chat, press + → Connectors and turn TokConnect on.

How do you call the TokConnect REST API?

You call TokConnect over HTTPS at https://api.tokconnect.com/v1 with your key in an X-API-Key header. The REST API is on the Pro and Enterprise plans, takes the same key and credits as the MCP server, and returns each tool's JSON unchanged under data. TokConnect also accepts Authorization: Bearer on the same routes.

Every success response from TokConnect's REST API has this shape. next_cursor appears when there is another page: pass it back as cursor. Arrays go in the query string comma separated, for example category=Skincare,Health.

TokConnect also serves GET /v1/account (plan, credits limit and credits used), GET /v1/tools (the tool list), POST /v1/tools/{name} (any tool by name, with the arguments as the JSON body) and GET /v1/openapi.json (OpenAPI 3.1, needs a key). These are the 56 TikTok Shop routes, exactly as the TokConnect API defines them. Each is a GET; arguments go in the query string, and {id} is the product, seller, creator, video or LIVE id.

Errors

TokConnect turns every in-band MCP refusal into a real HTTP status, and a refused or failed call is never charged.

What do credits and rate limits look like?

A TokConnect call costs 1 credit, whether it comes from the MCP server, the REST API or the research agent, and all three share one balance. A call that fails is refunded. Limits are set per plan, and the REST API starts at Pro.

When all of an account's slots are busy, a TokConnect call waits up to 30 seconds for one before it is refused, and each call runs for at most 90 seconds. Fan-out agents such as ChatGPT can send several calls at once, so this queue keeps them running instead of failing the moment the limit is reached.

Three worked examples with real TokConnect responses

Each example shows the MCP arguments, the REST request, the response trimmed to the fields that matter, and a table. All three ran on TokConnect's production server on 29 October 2026. TokConnect's data ends two days before the day you ask, here 26 October.

1. Top products for a keyword

TokConnect ranks every product that matches a keyword over your window. Ask for it in your AI:

TokConnect shows PetPivot in three of the top five rows, and 605 creators promoted the top listing, 24.1% of whom made a sale. That is the competitor view a Partner API tool cannot give you, because PetPivot never authorised your app.

2. One shop's 30-day sales and top creators

TokConnect finds a shop by name, then reads its sales split and the creators behind it. In your AI:

3. The top creators by revenue

TokConnect lists the creators who drove the most TikTok Shop sales in a market, with no keyword at all. In your AI:

Four of the ten have under 50,000 followers, and Creator #8 (11.4K followers) drove an estimated $246.24K. Follower count does not rank sellers. TokConnect's rankings do, and they cost one call. Add category, followers or contact filters to narrow the list, as the tools reference shows.

On 29 October 2026 we called TokConnect's production MCP server: shop_regions once; product_top_selling for "cat litter box" (US, 30 days, by revenue) and once per market with no keyword; shop_top_selling for "petpivot"; shop with sales and creators; and creator_top_selling with no keyword. Windows are 30 days (27 September to 26 October) for examples 1 and 2 and the 6 days TokConnect Shop Analytics returns without a keyword (21 to 26 October) for example 3 and the market table. Revenue and units are TokConnect Shop Analytics estimates: units track TikTok's sold counter and revenue is units times the listed price. Amounts are in each market's currency. Creators are masked: handles, names and bios are removed, and only a brand's own account keeps its label.
