Questions about TikTok account countries
How can I see what country a TikTok account is from?
Enter the @handle in the box above. The checker reads the country TikTok has on record for the account and shows it with the flag, the day the account started posting and its follower milestones.
Is the country where the creator lives?
Not always. It is the country TikTok has on record for the account. A creator who has moved can post from somewhere else, so read it as a strong signal, not proof of where someone is today.
Does the country tell me where the followers are?
No. An account registered in one country can have most of its followers in another. TokConnect shows a creator’s follower age, gender and language, which tells you more about the audience you would reach.
Why check a creator’s country before a deal?
If you sell in the US, a creator registered elsewhere may not reach US buyers, and TikTok Shop runs separately in each country it operates in. Checking first saves a wasted product sample or fee.
What does “started posting” mean?
It is the date TikTok records as the account’s first post. TikTok does not publish the day an account was created, so this is the closest public date for how old an account is.
Why are there no milestones for some accounts?
TikTok does not show milestones for every account. When it has none, the checker still shows the country.
