Does a rising search trend mean a product will sell?
No. Searches show interest, not purchases. A rising line means more people are looking the product up on TikTok; it says nothing about price, margin or how many buy. To see sales, ask TokConnect Shop Analytics for the product's estimated revenue, units and daily sales trend on TikTok Shop US. Then open the top videos and read their comments for buying questions.
What does searches per video tell me?
It divides the 7-day search estimate by the number of videos TikTok lists for the best-matching search. A high figure means many searches for comparatively few listed videos, which can leave room for a new review or demonstration. When TikTok lists no videos the figure is unavailable; treat that as a possible content gap and search TikTok yourself to confirm.
How can I tell if a product is trending on TikTok?
Check three things: whether TikTok searches for it are rising over 30 days, how many videos TikTok lists for those searches, and whether recent videos about it are getting views. On 8 October 2026, “magnesium spray benefits” was up 111% over 30 days with 1,057 listed videos, while the brand search “dr teals magnesium spray” fell 18%.
