Key takeaways
  • Kalodata's pricing page asks you to sign up first; its US App Store listing shows monthly plans from $45.99 to $129.99, with a 7-day free trial and no card.
  • Its revenue figures are estimates from public data. Kalodata itself says not to use them for commission settlements.
  • It suits sellers, affiliates and agencies already active in one of its 15 markets, not people still looking for a first product.
  • It does not show what people search for. In our mini projector check, 13 of the first 50 comments on a 2.7M-play video asked the price.
  • Test it during the trial on a product whose real sales you can see in Seller Center.

The short Kalodata review: it is worth it if you already sell or promote products on TikTok Shop in one of its 15 markets and will open it every week. It ranks products, shops, creators, videos, ads and livestreams by estimated revenue, and it is quick to learn. Its website hides prices behind a sign-up, but its US App Store listing shows monthly plans from $45.99 (US Basic) to $129.99 (Professional), and every plan starts with a 7-day free trial with no card.

Two limits matter before you pay. The sales figures are estimates built from public data, and Kalodata itself says not to use them for anything that needs precision, such as paying commissions. And it shows what already sells, not what people are searching for. We checked one real niche, mini projectors, to show that gap with numbers.

Checked 30 September 2026. We make TokConnect, one of the tools on this page. It reads TikTok search demand, videos and comments, not TikTok Shop sales, so it does not replace Kalodata.

What is Kalodata?

Kalodata is a paid analytics tool for TikTok Shop. Its menu has six research areas: Category, Shop, Creator, Product, Video & Ad, and Livestream. Each one ranks items by estimated revenue, so you can see which products are selling, which shops sell them, and which creators and videos move them.

It has added three AI products on top: Kaloboost (an affiliate platform), Kaloclip (video creation for e-commerce) and Kalopilot (an AI agent that answers market questions). There is also an API. The homepage claims data on more than 200 million products, 250 million creators and 400 million videos and livestreams, with 1,000 days of history.

Kalodata is run by Kalowave Technology Co., Limited. Its FAQ says it is not affiliated with TikTok, TikTok Shop or ByteDance, and that its managers came from TikTok's e-commerce team. So it is independent, and its numbers are not TikTok's own.

How much does Kalodata cost in 2026?

You cannot see Kalodata pricing without an account. On 30 September 2026, kalodata.com/pricing showed only a sign-up form. The clearest public price list is its US App Store listing, where Kalodata sets the in-app prices itself.

Prices: Kalodata on the US App Store, checked 30 September 2026. Limits and Enterprise price: Creatify, updated 22 August 2026. Prices vary by region and change often; check your own account before paying.

Paying yearly cuts the price. A February 2026 review lists Starter at $38.30 a month and Professional at $83.20 a month on annual billing. The AI features run on points, and heavy use of Kalopilot or Kaloclip can mean buying extra credits on top of the plan.

For most sellers the real choice is between the entry plan (about $46 to $50 a month, 90 days of history) and a Standard or Professional plan (about $100 to $130, 180 days). Longer history matters if you want to see whether a product is new or on its second wave.

How accurate is Kalodata?

Kalodata's numbers are estimates. Its FAQ says its team collects data from public channels and refines it with AI models, and that transaction amounts and ad spend may differ from real figures. It also says not to use its data where precision matters, such as settling partner commissions or judging performance.

Independent reviews say the same. The February 2026 WinningHunter review scored Kalodata 5 out of 10 for database accuracy and 8.5 for ease of use, and reported units sold that did not match the reviewer's own shop. Keep in mind that WinningHunter, like Trendtrack, sells a competing tool.

Test it on a product you know

During the free trial, look up your own product, or one whose sales you can see in Seller Center. If Kalodata's estimate lands close, trust it for ranking products in that category. If it is far off, use it for direction only.

Is Kalodata worth it?

Yes, for three kinds of buyer. Affiliates choosing what to promote get commission rates, creator counts and revenue by channel in one table. Sellers watching competitors get shop-level rankings and 180 days of history on the mid plans. Agencies get the API on Enterprise for client reports.

No, for three others. If you have no product or shop yet, a list of what already sells will not tell you what you can sell. If you sell across Amazon, Shopify and Meta, a TikTok-only tool covers one channel. And if you need exact figures, Seller Center is the only place with real orders.

Matrix of seven seller questions and which tool answers them, checked 30 September 2026. Kalodata: yes, estimated, for which products sell, which shops and creators sell them, and which videos, ads and lives made sales; not in its menu for weekly searches, searches with few videos and viewer comments; $45.99 to $129.99 a month on the App Store. TokConnect: no sales or GMV, creators by followers without sales, videos and plays without sales, yes for weekly searches with 7-day counts, yes for videos per topic, yes for comment pulls; free 50 credits then $49 to $199. Creator Search Insights: no for sales, shops and creators, related videos without sales, yes for weekly searches one topic at a time, yes for the content gap badge, no for comments; free with a TikTok login.

What does Kalodata miss? A mini projector check

Mini projectors are the kind of gadget Kalodata ranks by revenue, and several of the top TikTok results come from projector shops. We asked TikTok's own data three other questions on 30 September 2026: what people type, what the top videos look like, and what viewers ask.

What we pulledResult
Top 10 search topics for "mini projector"9 TikTok topic labels and 1 typed search

TikTok Creator Search Insights and TikTok search via TokConnect, global, pulled 30 September 2026. Searches are TikTok's 7-day search popularity. Topic labels are TikTok-generated groupings (5 million or more searches, or a curve that climbs from near zero every day); we list them apart from typed searches. Snapshot.

The one typed search was a brand name. "qkk mini projector" had 233,476 searches this week, and TikTok's 30-day chart for it shows 11 days at zero and sudden bursts, the largest on 30 September. Our reading: people search the name in bursts, most likely after a video or ad shows it. A sales tool shows the brand's revenue. Search shows you the week people went looking for it.

The rest of the top results were labels, not phrases people type. The same held for our two other screening searches: across "mini projector", "pet hair remover" and "portable blender", 29 of the top 30 topics were TikTok labels. Treat labels as a sign of category interest and use autocomplete for the words to say on camera. "Connect to phone" shows up twice in autocomplete, which tells you what the first seconds of a demo should prove.

The comments say the same thing louder. We read the first 50 comments on the most-played 2026 video in the results, a mini projector demo with 2,665,860 plays and 2,035 comments.

Bar chart of the first 50 comments on a mini projector video with 2.7 million plays: 13 asked the price, 12 said they want to buy it, 10 were reactions or other, 8 asked about features and setup such as speakers, daytime use and connecting Netflix, and 7 asked about delivery or location.
13 of 50 comments asked the price. Source: TikTok comments via TokConnect, 30 September 2026. Comments and theme rules.

32 of the 50 comments were buying signals: the price, "bring me back here" or where to buy. The caption never gives a price, and it already mentions Netflix and connecting a phone, yet people still asked. The feature questions were practical: does it work in daylight, does it have a speaker, can it play Netflix. Those are your next three videos, and a revenue ranking would never show them.

Kalodata vs FastMoss and other alternatives

The closest alternative is FastMoss, which also estimates TikTok Shop sales and offers a 7-day free trial with no card and no auto-renewal. It covers more markets and sells each region separately. Our Kalodata vs FastMoss comparison has both price lists side by side. EchoTik is the budget option, with a free plan.

None of the three shows search demand. If your question is "what should I film about this product", pair any of them with search data. Our guide to TikTok product research walks through using sales and search together.

Ask TokConnect

Which brand names do people type into TikTok search for mini projectors, and how many searches did each get this week?

Do this in TokConnect

If Kalodata tells you a product sells, the next question is how to sell it on camera. Ask it in plain words at chat.tokconnect.com:

Ask TokConnect

Is there search demand on TikTok for [your product] this week? Show typed searches apart from topic labels, the videos for each, and what viewers ask in the top video's comments.

When we ran these checks for mini projectors through TokConnect, they returned the one typed search ("qkk mini projector", 233,476 searches in 7 days, 498 videos), two labels with no videos, the autocomplete phrases, the top 13 videos with their plays, and the comment themes: 13 of 50 asking the price and 8 asking about features.

What to do next: open your video with the price or a clear price range, show the phone connection in the first three seconds, and film one video each for daylight use, sound and streaming apps. Put the exact search wording in your on-screen text and caption. Our TikTok SEO guide covers where those words count. The Free plan has 50 credits, and a question like this uses 1 to 4.

How we checked

Kalodata's pricing page, homepage and FAQ, its US App Store listing, and the FastMoss and EchoTik pricing pages were opened on 30 September 2026. Where Kalodata publishes nothing, we used dated 2026 reviews and named the publisher, including when the publisher sells a rival tool. We did not buy a Kalodata plan, so we have not tested its estimates against a shop of our own.

TikTok numbers come from 11 pulls through TokConnect on 30 September 2026: topic searches for four seeds (top 10, or top 20 for "projector"), one topic's detail and 30-day chart, autocomplete, related searches (none came back), the top 13 videos, the #miniprojector hashtag and the first 50 comments on one video. Searches are global 7-day counts. Comment themes were set by simple keyword rules, listed in the evidence file. What the search numbers mean is explained in how TikTok search volume works.

Frequently asked questions

Is Kalodata worth it?

It is worth it if you already sell or promote products on TikTok Shop in one of its 15 markets and will use it weekly. At about $46 to $50 a month for an entry plan, it pays back only if you act on what it shows. It is not worth it before you have a product, or if you need exact sales figures.

How much does Kalodata cost per month?

Kalodata's website shows prices only after sign-up. On 30 September 2026 its US App Store listing showed United States Basic at $45.99, Starter at $49.99, US Standard at $99.99 and Professional at $129.99 a month, with Brazil Basic at $35.90. Enterprise is about $569 to $599.99 a month according to a dated 2026 article. Annual billing is cheaper.

Is Kalodata data accurate?

It is an estimate. Kalodata says it collects public data and refines it with AI models, that transaction amounts may differ from real figures, and that its data should not be used for commission settlements. A February 2026 review scored its database accuracy 5 out of 10. Compare it with a product whose real sales you know.

Is Kalodata free?

No, but it has a 7-day free trial with no credit card needed. You can browse its rankings without an account, but revenue figures stay hidden until you log in, and prices appear only after you sign up.

Is Kalodata legit and is it part of TikTok?

It is a real paid tool run by Kalowave Technology Co., Limited. Its FAQ says it is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by TikTok, TikTok Shop or ByteDance, though its managers came from TikTok's e-commerce team. Its numbers are its own estimates, not TikTok's.

What is the best alternative to Kalodata?

FastMoss is the closest alternative, with more markets and a 7-day free trial. EchoTik has a free plan. For what people search and ask on TikTok, which none of the sales tools show, use TikTok's Creator Search Insights or TokConnect. See our Kalodata vs FastMoss comparison.
