Key takeaways
  • FastMoss publishes US prices of $49, $89 and $139 a month and covers 20 markets, but each region is a separate subscription.
  • Kalodata hides prices behind a sign-up; its US App Store listing shows plans from $45.99 to $129.99 a month across 15 markets.
  • Both offer a 7-day free trial with no card, so run them back to back and compare each against a product whose real sales you know.
  • Both tools estimate sales from public TikTok data. Use them for direction and ranking, not for paying commissions.
  • Neither shows search demand. In our pull, "cpap heatless curls" had 2.2 million searches in a week and zero videos.

Kalodata vs FastMoss comes down to markets and prices. Pick FastMoss if you sell in Europe or several countries, want published prices (Basic $49, Pro $89, Ultimate $139 a month in the US) or want to plug the data into an AI agent. Pick Kalodata if you work one market and want the simplest product and creator rankings, with revenue split by live, video and product card. Kalodata's US App Store listing shows plans from $45.99 to $129.99 a month; its website hides prices until you sign up.

Both give a 7-day free trial with no card. Both sell estimates built from public TikTok data, not TikTok's own sales figures. And neither shows what people search for on TikTok, which is the gap we cover at the end with live numbers.

Checked 28 September 2026. We make TokConnect, one of the tools on this page. It reads TikTok search demand, not Shop sales, so it is not a replacement for either tool.

What is Kalodata?

Kalodata is a paid TikTok Shop analytics tool. It ranks products, shops, creators, videos, ads and livestreams by estimated revenue in 15 markets: the US, Brazil, Mexico, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, the UK, Spain, Germany, France and Italy.

Its product table is its best feature. Next to revenue and items sold, it shows the commission rate, how many creators promote the product, how often those creators convert, and how much revenue came from live, from videos and from the product card. For an affiliate, that last split tells you whether a product sells on camera or just in search.

Kalodata is run by Kalowave Technology and says it is not affiliated with TikTok, though it says its managers came from TikTok's e-commerce team. It also lists an API, an AI affiliate platform and AI video generation. You can browse the rankings without an account, but the revenue figures stay hidden until you log in.

What is FastMoss?

FastMoss is a paid TikTok Shop analytics tool covering 20 markets: the US, Mexico, Brazil, Indonesia, the Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Japan, Singapore and a Europe bundle of ten countries (UK, Spain, Germany, France, Italy, Poland, the Netherlands, Belgium, Austria and Portugal).

It does the same core job as Kalodata: product, shop and creator rankings with estimated GMV (gross merchandise value, meaning total sales before costs). On top of that it has Market Pulse for category trends, a library of TikTok ad videos, LIVE and video monitoring, creator contact info with outreach through its MossCreator product, AI review analysis and a Chrome extension.

FastMoss also runs an MCP server and CLI, so Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor can query its sales data directly. One catch: plans are sold per region. If you sell in the US and the UK, you pay twice.

Where do Kalodata and FastMoss get their data?

Both tools collect public TikTok data and estimate sales from it. Neither has access to TikTok's seller back end, and neither is an official TikTok product.

FastMoss says it collects public TikTok Shop signals such as LIVE sales, views, likes and comments, and that algorithms estimate GMV and sales from over 1,500 days of history. It calls the results estimates, not seller-backend data. Kalodata says its team collects data from public channels and refines it with AI models, and that transaction amounts and ad spend may differ from the real figures.

Do not pay commissions off these numbers

Kalodata itself says not to use its data where precision matters, such as settling commissions or judging a creator's performance. One February 2026 review found the units sold did not match the reviewer's own shop. Use the tools to spot direction and rank, and use Seller Center for anything you pay or invoice.

Kalodata pricing and FastMoss pricing in 2026

FastMoss publishes its prices; Kalodata does not. Here is what each costs, in US dollars, as of 28 September 2026.

FastMoss: fastmoss.com/pricing, US region, during an anniversary sale. Kalodata: US App Store in-app prices, plus SimpTok (January 2026) and WinningHunter (February 2026) for limits and annual prices. Prices vary by region.

The Kalodata ranges exist because its App Store listing shows several plan names by region, including a US Basic at $45.99, a US Standard at $99.99 and a Professional at $129.99. Check the price in your own account before you pay.

Is Kalodata worth it?

Kalodata is worth it if you sell or promote products in one of its 15 markets and will open it at least weekly. At about $46 to $50 a month, it pays back only if you act on what it shows. It is not worth it before you have a product or a shop, because rankings of what already sells will not tell you what you can sell.

Use the trial as a test. Look up a product whose sales you know, ideally your own, and compare Kalodata's estimate with Seller Center. Then do the same in the FastMoss trial. Keep the one whose numbers land closer for your category.

Which should you pick?

New affiliate

Run the two free trials back to back and you get 14 days of data for nothing. If you then want to pay, FastMoss Basic is the cheapest first month at $29, and EchoTik's free plan or $13.90 Basic covers light use. Kalodata's commission and creator-conversion columns are the most useful for choosing what to promote, so try it while you shortlist products.

Established seller

You need competitor shop tracking and longer history. FastMoss Pro ($89) gives 180 days and LIVE monitoring; Kalodata Professional gives 180 days and the revenue split by channel. If you sell in Europe, FastMoss covers ten European markets to Kalodata's five, which settles it.

Agency

FastMoss Ultimate ($139, extra seats $70 a month) has unlimited searches and 1,200 days of history, and its MCP and API let you build client reports without screenshots. Budget one subscription per client region. Kalodata's Enterprise plan is custom priced and includes the API.

Kalodata and FastMoss alternatives

The closest alternative to either is the other one. The third serious option is EchoTik, which has a free plan and paid plans at $13.90, $29 and $57 a month (less if billed yearly). Its Basic plan only shows the last 30 days and does not explain how its numbers are made, so it suits checking a product rather than building a strategy.

Two free sources come first, though. Your own Seller Center analytics show real orders, not estimates. And TikTok's search tool shows demand, which none of the paid sales tools do. Our guide to TikTok product research uses both.

What neither shows: what people search for

Kalodata and FastMoss show what already sells. They cannot show what people are typing into TikTok's search bar this week, or which of those searches has almost no videos answering it. That is demand, and it often shows up before the sales.

TikTok publishes this in Creator Search Insights: a 7-day global search count for each topic and the number of videos TikTok matches to it. A search with lots of people and few videos is a content gap. We pulled three common TikTok Shop product types.

TikTok Creator Search Insights via TokConnect, top 8 topics per search, global, pulled 28 September 2026. Topic labels are TikTok-generated groupings: over 5 million searches, or a curve that climbs from near zero every day. Snapshot.

Bar chart of four typed TikTok searches in the last 7 days: cpap heatless curls 2.2 million with 0 videos, heatless curler results about 243,000 with 599 videos, diy posture corrector about 195,000 with 390 videos, and posture corrector before and after about 175,000 with 728 videos.

"cpap heatless curls" is the standout. It went from about 293,000 searches on the first day of the week to 2.2 million on the last, and TikTok matched no videos to it. A sales tool would show heatless curlers selling. It would not show that millions of people want the version made with CPAP tubing and cannot find a video.

Lip oil is the opposite. All eight results were broad TikTok topic labels, each already with 316 to 1,022 videos. People search for it, and plenty of videos answer them. The posture corrector search had five labels with no videos, including "posture corrector prices and costs" at about 2 million. Treat labels like that as a signal for the category, not proof that people type the exact phrase.

So use the two kinds of data together. The sales tool tells you a product makes money. Search demand tells you which angle to film, in the words people use. See how TikTok search volume works for what the numbers mean.

Using TokConnect, search TikTok topics for each product on my shortlist: [product 1], [product 2], [product 3]. For each topic give the 7-day searches, the change from the first to the last day, and the videos TikTok matches. Split typed searches from TikTok topic labels (over 5 million, or a curve that climbs from near zero every day). Flag typed searches with under 100 videos as content gaps, and for each gap write the first line I should say on camera using the exact search wording.

Frequently asked questions

Is Kalodata better than FastMoss?

Neither is better across the board. Kalodata is simpler and splits product revenue by live, video and product card, which helps affiliates. FastMoss covers more markets (20 to Kalodata's 15, including ten in Europe), publishes its prices and offers an MCP server and API. Pick by the markets you sell in.

How much does Kalodata cost?

Kalodata does not show prices on its website without a sign-up. Its US App Store listing shows monthly plans from $45.99 (US Basic) to $129.99 (Professional), and 2026 reviews put annual billing at about $38 a month for Starter and $83 for Professional. Enterprise is custom priced. Prices vary by region.

How much does FastMoss cost?

On 28 September 2026 FastMoss's US pricing page showed Basic at $49 a month ($29 for the first month), Pro at $89 and Ultimate at $139, or $558, $854 and $1,084 a year. Enterprise API access is priced on request. Each region needs its own subscription.

Is Kalodata data accurate?

It is an estimate. Kalodata says it collects public data and refines it with AI models, that transaction amounts can differ from real figures, and that its data should not be used for commission settlements. FastMoss also calls its GMV figures estimates from public signals. Check either against a product whose real sales you know.

Do Kalodata and FastMoss have a free trial?

Yes. Both offer a 7-day free trial with no credit card. FastMoss says its trial does not auto-renew. EchoTik has a permanent free plan with limited views instead.

What is a good Kalodata or FastMoss alternative?

The main alternative to each is the other. EchoTik is the budget option, with a free plan and paid plans from $13.90 a month. For free data, use your own Seller Center analytics for real orders and TikTok's Creator Search Insights for search demand, which none of the paid sales tools show.
