Key takeaways
  • Exolyt's paid plans start at €250 a month (€210 billed yearly); the free Basic plan tracks one account and one hashtag with seven days of history.
  • For cheaper multi-network competitor benchmarking, Socialinsider starts at $82 a month and covers six networks including TikTok.
  • For listening inside a full suite, Sprout Social sells Listening as an add-on on Standard and up; Brandwatch is quote-only.
  • Exolyt does not show TikTok search volume and documents no public API. Creator Search Insights (free, no export) and TokConnect (MCP, from $49) fill that gap.
  • If you track 20 or more TikTok accounts and hashtags for clients, Exolyt is still the better fit.

The best Exolyt alternatives depend on why you are leaving. For cheaper competitor benchmarking across several networks, pick Socialinsider (from $82 a month). For listening inside a full social suite, pick Sprout Social or Brandwatch. For free TikTok trend and search data, use TikTok's own Creative Center and Creator Search Insights. For TikTok search volume and public data inside an AI agent, pick TokConnect (from $49 a month).

Exolyt is still the better choice if you track dozens of TikTok accounts and hashtags every day and want it all in one TikTok-only dashboard. Its paid plans start at €250 a month, and nothing below covers that job as deeply. This page is for marketers and agencies comparing TikTok analytics and social listening tools. All prices were checked on each vendor's own site on 28 September 2026.

We make TokConnect, one of the tools on this page. Where another tool does a job better, we say so.

What does Exolyt do, and what does it cost?

Exolyt is a TikTok-only analytics and social listening tool. It tracks accounts and hashtags, runs influencer campaign reports, and has listening projects with AI sentiment and summaries of what people say about a brand. Its pricing page lists three plans.

Bar chart of the cheapest paid plan per month on monthly billing: TokConnect Starter $49, Socialinsider Adapt $82, Sprout Social Essentials $99 per seat, Exolyt Essentials 250 euros.
Cheapest paid plan per month, billed monthly, from each vendor's pricing page on 28 September 2026. Exolyt prices in euros, the rest in US dollars; no conversion. Brandwatch is left out because it does not publish prices. Data.

Is Exolyt free? Yes, the Basic plan is free for good. But it tracks one account and one hashtag, keeps seven days of history and has no listening projects. It is a way to try the tool, not a way to run a client.

Some review sites still quote Exolyt in dollars. ColdIQ's 2026 review, for example, lists $400 and $950 a month. Use the euro prices on Exolyt's own page.

Why do people look for Exolyt alternatives?

Four reasons follow straight from what Exolyt sells.

The jump from free to paid is steep. There is no plan between €0 and €250 a month. If you track five accounts, not fifty, you pay for 45 slots you do not use. Paying yearly saves €40 a month on Essentials.

It covers TikTok only. Exolyt says so on its homepage. If your client report also needs Instagram and YouTube, you need a second tool anyway, and a multi-network one may replace Exolyt entirely.

It does not show TikTok search volume. Exolyt's plans are counted in accounts, hashtags, campaigns and listening projects. None of its plans mention how many people search a topic on TikTok. That number lives in TikTok's Creator Search Insights, which has no export.

There is no public API. Exolyt's exports page offers CSV downloads and a Looker Studio connection. It does not mention an API. Teams that want TikTok data inside their own scripts, dashboards or AI agents have to look elsewhere; our TikTok API guide lists the options.

The 6 Exolyt alternatives worth checking in 2026

1. Socialinsider: benchmarking across networks

Socialinsider starts at $82 a month for the Adapt plan (20 accounts, three months of history, one user) with a 14-day trial. It covers TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X and YouTube. Its TikTok page says it can track any public TikTok business profile without connecting the account. An API costs $100 a month extra on any plan.

Where Exolyt wins: hashtag tracking, influencer campaigns and TikTok listening. Socialinsider is about profiles and their posts, which is most of a TikTok competitor analysis.

2. Sprout Social: listening inside a full suite

Sprout Social starts at $99 per seat a month on monthly billing ($79 billed yearly), with a 30-day trial. Listening is a separate add-on on Standard ($199 per seat, billed yearly) and above, and Sprout does not publish its price. Sprout's own guide says TikTok listening covers hashtags, keywords, sounds, mentions and comments.

Where Exolyt wins: price for a TikTok-only team. Where Sprout wins: publishing, the inbox and reports for every network in one login.

3. Brandwatch: enterprise listening

Brandwatch does not publish prices; you book a demo and get a quote. Its help center lists TikTok as a listening source in its social media management product once you connect your TikTok account. It then picks up mentions of your brand's handle in videos, comments and replies.

Where Exolyt wins: a known price, and TikTok depth without a sales call. Where Brandwatch wins: Reddit, YouTube and the other networks it lists as data partners, in the same query.

4. TikTok Creative Center: free trends

Creative Center is TikTok's free site for advertisers. It shows trending hashtags, songs, videos and top ads by country. You can browse it without logging in, though the full lists sit behind a login. It shows posts and views, not searches.

Where Exolyt wins: tracking named accounts over time. Creative Center has no tracking at all.

5. Creator Search Insights: free search data

Creator Search Insights is TikTok's own keyword tool. It is in the TikTok app and at tiktok.com/csi (a TikTok login is required). It shows how many people searched a topic in the last seven days, a trend chart, and a content-gap flag for topics with few videos. It has no export, no history view and no API. Our comparison with Creative Center covers both.

Where Exolyt wins: everything about accounts, hashtags and listening. This tool only does search.

6. TokConnect: TikTok search data in an AI agent

TokConnect is an MCP server. MCP is the standard way to plug a data source into Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and other agents. You ask a question in plain words and the agent pulls Creator Search Insights data (search volume, trends, content gaps, audience splits) and public TikTok videos, profiles, comments and hashtags. There is a free allowance of 50 credits, then plans from $49 a month for 500 credits. One tool call is one credit.

Where Exolyt wins: saved tracking of many accounts, influencer campaign reports, sentiment summaries and a dashboard your client can log into. TokConnect does not track TikTok Shop sales, post, schedule or run ads. It covers TikTok only, like Exolyt.

What does brand listening look like with search data?

Most listening tools read what people post. Search data shows what people are looking for, which is often different. We pulled the TikTok search topics for one brand, Roomba, on 28 September 2026.

Typed searchSearches (7 days)Videos matched
kids roomba238,1710
roomba dungeon209,0790
robot roomba137,431272
roomba 105 combo61,2930
roomba core54,2940

Data: TikTok Creator Search Insights via TokConnect, search_topics for "roomba", pulled 28 September 2026. Three larger results were TikTok topic labels, not typed searches ("robots and Roomba in rooms", 4,456,454; "Roomba release and vacuum jokes", 3,226,985; "robot and Roomba tour memes", 2,642,278; all with 0 videos). Open the snapshot.

Two things stand out. The five typed searches add up to about 700,000 in a week, and four of the five have no matched videos. And only one, roomba 105 combo, names a product model, with about 61,000 searches. The rest, and all three topic labels, are about memes and jokes. A brand team would want to know both: where people are asking about a product and nobody has answered, and how much of the talk is not about buying at all.

A post-based listening tool would not show those gaps, because they are gaps: nobody posted. That is the case for adding search data, not for dropping listening.

Paste this into your agent

Pull the TikTok search topics for [your brand] and for [your top competitor]. Split typed searches from TikTok's topic labels. For each typed search, show 7-day searches and matched videos, flag anything with fewer than 50 videos as a gap, and tell me which searches name a product.

Works in Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and Gemini once TokConnect is connected. Get a free key (50 credits, no card) or see the setup guides.

Many agencies will not replace Exolyt at all. They keep it for tracking and add a search-data source for the question Exolyt does not answer: what people want to watch before anyone has posted it. Our agency page shows that setup, and the social listening guide runs a weekly routine on a real brand.

Tools we checked and left out

Pentos and Tokboard still appear in many "Exolyt alternatives" lists. Neither domain resolved when we checked on 28 September 2026. Analisa.io refused every connection, and we could not find a dated 2026 price from a source we trust, so it is not ranked here. Our wider TikTok analytics tools roundup covers tools for your own account, TikTok Shop and raw data, which this page does not.

Frequently asked questions

Is Exolyt free?

Partly. Exolyt's Basic plan costs €0 and has no time limit, but it tracks one TikTok account and one hashtag, keeps seven days of data and has no social listening projects. Paid plans start with Essentials at €250 a month, or €210 a month billed yearly (exolyt.com/pricing, checked 28 September 2026).

How much does Exolyt cost?

Essentials is €250 a month (€210 billed yearly) for 50 tracked accounts, 50 hashtags and 3 listening projects. Advanced is €600 a month (€500 billed yearly) for 300 accounts, 300 hashtags and 15 listening projects. Both include 10 team members. Some review sites still quote older dollar prices; use Exolyt's own page.

What is the best alternative to Exolyt?

It depends on why you are leaving. Socialinsider ($82 a month) for benchmarking TikTok alongside five other networks, Sprout Social or Brandwatch for listening inside a larger suite, Creative Center and Creator Search Insights if you need free TikTok data, and TokConnect if you want TikTok search volume in an AI agent. If you track many TikTok accounts daily, Exolyt is still the strongest fit.

Does Exolyt have an API?

Exolyt does not document a public API. Its exports page offers CSV downloads and a Looker Studio (Google Data Studio) connection. If you need programmatic TikTok data, Socialinsider sells an API add-on for $100 a month, and TokConnect works as an MCP server inside AI agents.

Is Exolyt only for TikTok?

Yes. Exolyt covers organic TikTok content only: accounts, hashtags, influencer campaigns and listening. For TikTok plus Instagram, YouTube and others in one tool, look at Socialinsider, Sprout Social or Brandwatch.

What is the best TikTok social listening tool?

For TikTok alone, Exolyt's listening projects are built for it. For TikTok alongside other networks, Sprout Social's Listening add-on tracks TikTok hashtags, keywords, sounds, mentions and comments, and Brandwatch covers mentions of your handle once you connect your account. Neither shows what people search on TikTok; that data is in Creator Search Insights.
